The director and the producer agreed that searching for the cast in schools in brixton,agencies, theatres and just using young people who experience things like the sort off things that occur in honey trap would give a scenes of realism to the film that standard actors cannot do because they haven't experienced any of it them selves they didn't live local they didn't experience any of these events. Also with street casting the actors would get payed less because they are not professionals which allows them to put of a more authentic performance.
