Guardians of the Galaxy

Here's the research I found out about Guardians of the Galaxy:

The director of this film was James Gunn and the producer was Kevin Feige. The following actors/actresses starred in Guardians of the Galaxy, Chris Pratt played as Peter Quill, Zoe Saldana played as Gamora and Dave Bautsia played as Drax. The budget for this film was $170 million.

Past films by Marvel Studios have used technology to create some of the characters and special effects. They also use technology to create outlandish characters as the walking tree-like Groot. The Rocket Raccoon was based on CGI and real life raccoons and the movements was done by an on set character. The Guardians also used make up for different effects such as prosthetics, face paint etc. Technologies such as camera and tripods, lighting equipment etc would of also been used and a program for special effects and to edit and cut the scenes.

Guardians of the Galaxy was marketed by billboards, adverts, trailers, posters, bus advertisements etc. These will grab the target audiences attention and get the word out of the film. These posters and adverts will be on buses, bus stops, buildings and online. The characters in Guardians of the Galaxy were also made as toys for children. The production company was Marvel and Walt Disney Studios distributed the film.

Guardians of the Galaxy was released in 104 countries some of these were USA, Brazil, Turkey, Croatia and Poland. I think that the target audience for this film is teenagers and young adults because its quite violent however the action figures and toys could be targeted at the younger generation.
